Job summary

Animal Care Center of NYC (ACC) seeks an Admissions Counselor to welcome clients, assess animal intake, and determine placement pathways to ensure the best outcomes from the first contact. You will document animal history, health and behavior, provide counseling with empathy, and connect owners to surrender prevention options and other ACC resources.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of customer service experience required.
