Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Angio/Interventionalist to perform angiography procedures, scrubbing, setting techniques, and image capture. The role supports the Imaging service line with a focus on patient care, safety and teamwork.

The position offers a path for advancement in a collaborative environment. The job requires active licensure/certifications (ARRT, BCLS, ACLS within 120 days, PALS for pediatric hospitals) and 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS within 120 days.
• State licensure/certifications required.
• PALS required for pediatric hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications.
• Provides procedural assistance as circulating scrub or monitoring tech.
• Operates IR equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Prepares patient, verifies identity and orders.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines and maintains safe environment.
• Adheres to protocol for medical necessity and billing, obtains consents, and reports equipment issues.
• Provides patient education and ensures comfort.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates with other providers.
• Manages hemostasis post-procedure.
