Job summary

The Salvation Army at Galleria Mall in Hoover, AL is seeking help for its Christmas Angel Tree program this Nov-Dec. The role involves assisting with donations, stocking and directing gifts, and helping at Angel Tree sites.

You will interact with donors, assist with data entry for recipient information, and maintain a clean warehouse. Strong customer service and ability to lift up to 25 lbs are required; HS diploma or GED preferred.

Ability to abide by the required dress code.Education and Experience – High School Diploma of G.E.D. preferred but not required.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions - Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. Ability to stand in one location for extended periods.
