Job summary

Salvation Army in Leeds, AL is seeking a weekend seasonal associate to support the Angel Tree program. Responsibilities

• Provide support for the Angel Tree program and assist with loading/unloading of donations.

• Perform data entry of recipient information.
• Work weekend hours during Nov–Dec season.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in a warehouse environment.

For weekend only Shops of Grand River (Leeds, AL).Saturday 11A-7P/Sunday 12P-6PProvides support for the seasonal Angel Tree program; lifts, carries, loads and unloads a variety of Christmas gift donations; serves as an attendant at Angel Tree sites; interacts with donors and responds to questions regarding the donation process; assists with the cleanup, lay out, and set up of the warehouse; assists with pick up from the malls or corporations. Ability to abide by the required dress code.Education and Experience – High School Diploma of G.E.D. preferred but not required.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions - Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. Ability to stand in one location for extended periods.
