The Salvation Army Corps in Winston-Salem is seeking a Seasonal Full-Time Warehouse Associate for the Christmas Center. You will lift and stack donations, unload trucks, and help with setup and cleanup while promoting donor relations and safety within the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include moving furniture and other items, keeping areas clean, and assisting with potential pickup from malls or corporations as needed. This position runs 11/16/26 through 12/23/26.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving lifting and carrying.
• Ability to walk, stoop, stand and climb as part of daily tasks.
• Work in a warehouse environment with temperature fluctuations, noise and dust.

Responsabilités

• Lifts and stacks donations in the warehouse.
• Distributes donations to their proper place in the warehouse.
• Clean and service assigned areas in the Christmas Center.
• Pick up trash and remove trash to disposal areas.
• Maintain good donor relations to promote The Salvation Army image.
• Unloads trucks at the Christmas warehouse.

Position Type: Seasonal Full-Time at 40 hours per week (Hours vary) - Short-term position (11/16/26 - 12/23/26)About this opportunity: Works in the Christmas center; lifts, carries, loads and unloads variety of donations that may include furniture, appliances, clothing, etc.; works to promote the safety and security of the warehouse; assists with the cleanup, lay out, and set up of the warehouse; assists with possible pick up from the malls or corporations, if necessary.Key responsibilities:Lifts and stacks donations in the warehouse.Distributes donations to their proper place as instructed in the warehouse.Clean and service assigned areas in the Christmas Center.Pick up trash, empty garbage container, and remove all trash to area for disposal.Maintains good relationship with donors to promote a favorable image of The Salvation Army.Unloads the truck at the Christmas warehouse.What we are looking for in you:A High School diploma or GEDPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
