Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Seasonal Warehouse Associate for the Christmas Center in Memphis. You will lift, carry, load and unload donations including furniture, appliances, clothing, and more while promoting safety and efficiency in the warehouse.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, organizing donations, cleaning areas, and assisting with pickups from malls or corporations as needed. Weekend shifts may be required; a high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be physically capable of lifting and unloading materials.
• Able to work in a warehouse with noise and dust.
• Willing to work varying shifts, including weekends.
• Must follow instructions and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Lifts and stacks donations in the warehouse.
• Distributes donations to designated locations.
• Unloads trucks at the Christmas warehouse.
• Cleans and maintains assigned areas.
• Removes trash and prepares disposal areas.

Job description

Schedule/Hours: Seasonal Monday - Friday (36.25 hours per week)This position is responsible for:Working in the Christmas center; lifting, carrying, loading and unloading variety of donations that may include furniture, appliances, clothing, etc.; works to promote the safety and security of the warehouse; assists with the cleanup, lay out, and set up of the warehouse; assists with possible pick up from the malls or corporations, if necessary.Key Responsibilities:Lifts and stacks donations in the warehouse.Distributes donations to their proper place as instructed in the warehouse.Unloads the truck at the Christmas warehouse.Cleans and services assigned areas in the Christmas Center.Pick up trash, empty garbage containers, and remove all trash to area for disposal.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Work requires an ability to follow instructions acquired through a partial high school education.Must have physical strength adequate to carry and unload materials from truck and in warehouse.Must be able to work independently and must be willing to work shifts that vary from day to night and be on call weekends.Must be organized.Job requires considerable physical effort and may entail some pressure and fatigue.Work requires working in a warehouse environment with exposure to fluctuating temperatures and discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like with lots of walking and bending.Employee Benefits:Worker’s Compensation InsuranceHigh school diploma or G.E.D. preferred but not requiredEqual Opportunity Employer: Veterans | Disabled
