Job summary

Paycom in Memphis, TN, is seeking a Seasonal Full Time Warehouse Assistant for the Christmas center. The role involves lifting, loading and unloading donations, maintaining warehouse safety, and assisting with setup and cleanup. Hours are seasonal, Monday–Friday, about 36.25 hours per week.

Job Details: Job Location: KT-Memphis Area Command - Memphis, TN, Position Type: Seasonal Full Time, Education Level: High School Diploma/GED, Salary Range: $17.00, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Any, Schedule/Hours: Seasonal Monday - Friday (36.25 hours per week)

This position is responsible for:

Working in the Christmas center; lifting, carrying, loading and unloading variety of donations that may include furniture, appliances, clothing, etc.; works to promote the safety and security of the warehouse; assists with the cleanup, lay out, and set up of the warehouse; assists with possible pick up from the malls or corporations, if necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lifts and stacks donations in the warehouse.
• Distributes donations to their proper place as instructed in the warehouse.
• Unloads the truck at the Christmas warehouse.
• Cleans and services assigned areas in the Christmas Center.
• Pick up trash, empty garbage containers, and remove all trash to area for disposal.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Work requires an ability to follow instructions acquired through a partial high school education.
• Must have physical strength adequate to carry and unload materials from truck and in warehouse.
• Must be able to work independently and must be willing to work shifts that vary from day to night and be on call weekends.
• Must be organized.
• Job requires considerable physical effort and may entail some pressure and fatigue.
• Work requires working in a warehouse environment with exposure to fluctuating temperatures and discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like with lots of walking and bending.
