Job summary

The Salvation Army Indiana Division is seeking an Angel Tree Coordinator to lead communications and oversee the Angel Tree program. You will recruit volunteers, manage application dates, and ensure smooth planning and execution from intake to distribution.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, 1–2 years of event planning experience, a valid driver's license, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks required and reviewed.
• 1–2 years planning large social services events preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and Safe From Harm training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Recruit volunteers to take applications and support distribution.
• Plan application dates and enter applications into the program.
• Develop spreadsheets to track applicants and verify data.
• Coordinate with donors, partners and Toys for Tots where needed.
• Supervise volunteers and manage packing, packing, and distribution.
