Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking an Angel Tree Program Assistant to support Sacramento County operations during the Christmas season. The role includes intake, eligibility determination, and coordinating the Angel Tree and toy drive efforts with donors and community partners.

You will maintain records, assist with program reporting, and collaborate with Social Services to ensure families receive needed assistance.

Responsibilities

• Interview clients and prepare paperwork for Christmas programs and other assistance.
• Provide intake, assessment and financial assistance to low-income families.
• Maintain client files and track data in reporting sheets.
• Refer clients to community resources as appropriate.
• Coordinate Angel Tree tag distribution and toy drive logistics.
• Communicate with donors via phone and email; prepare routine correspondence.
