Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Technician program preferred.
• Biology/Physiology/Anatomy coursework preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and maintain anesthesia equipment and monitors for procedures.
• Assist with aseptic techniques during invasive and non-invasive procedures, including airway management and IV/arterial line placement.
• Monitor vital signs and report abnormalities to anesthesia providers.
• Stock anesthesia supplies across ORs and procedural areas to ensure readiness.
• Assist with ABGs, ACTs, and other point-of-care tests.
• Prepare and deliver blood products and pharmaceuticals as requested by the anesthesia team.
• Provide guidance to other technicians and team members as needed.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, and monitor application under supervision.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with appropriate departments.
• Maintain readiness for routine and emergency procedures.
