Formación

• Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Technician program preferred.
• Biology/Physiology/Anatomy coursework preferred.
• 0-2 years as an Anesthesia Technician in a hospital or surgical setting preferred.
• 1-2 years as a LVN preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Setup, calibrate, and maintain anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices.
• Assist with aseptic or sterile techniques during procedures.
• Monitor and report vital sign changes to anesthesia providers.
• Stock anesthesia supplies in operating rooms and other areas.
• Assist with ABGs, ACTs, and other point-of-care tests.
• Prepare and deliver blood products and medications as requested.
• Provide guidance to other technicians and team members.
• Assist with patient transport and positioning under supervision.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain readiness for routine and emergency procedures.
• Maintain attendance and comply with policies.
