Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Technician program preferred.
• College coursework in Biology, Physiology, Anatomy, or related fields preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician preferred.
• 1–2 years of LVN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares anesthetizing locations by setting up and maintaining monitoring devices and equipment.
• Assists providers with aseptic techniques during procedures including airway management and line placement.
• Monitors and reports vital sign changes to anesthesia teams.
• Stocks anesthesia supplies in operating rooms and related areas for readiness.
• Assists with laboratory tests and point‑of‑care procedures as needed.
• Obtains and delivers blood products and pharmaceuticals as requested.
• Provides guidance to other technicians and team members as needed.
• Assists with patient transport, positioning, and monitoring.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and coordinates repairs.
• Maintains readiness for routine and emergency procedures.
