Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking an Anesthesia Tech on a PRN basis. The role provides support to anesthesia providers under the direction of an anesthesiologist or CRNA, and involves stocking supplies and maintaining anesthesia equipment.

Essential functions include maintaining anesthesia machines and monitors, and assisting with patient care. Minimum education is a high school diploma with BLS certification; NBSTSA certification is also listed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Certification for Surgical Technology with NBSTSA is required.

Responsibilities

• Stocks all anesthesia supplies in the operating room, L&D, and all anesthesia supply rooms.
• Maintains equipment such as anesthesia machines, ventilators, cardiac monitors, fluid warmers, end-tidal CO2 and pulse oximeters.
• Assists with patient care.
