Job summary

Ascension is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to join the Surgery department at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital in Brookfield, WI. The role supports anesthesia providers with patient care, equipment setup, monitoring, and airway management in a fast-paced, day-shift environment.

You will maintain equipment, manage inventory, and ensure readiness for procedures. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with experience; BLS within 30 days; Anesthesia Tech preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire; Anesthesia Tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize and set up all anesthesia equipment.
• Assist anesthesia provider with patient assessment, monitoring, transport, positioning, IV/invasive lines, and airway management.
• Provide daily maintenance of equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of necessary equipment and supplies.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Anesthesia Tech preferred.

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
