Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support stocking of supplies, assist with equipment in Operating Rooms, and communicate with anesthesia staff to ensure efficient patient care. The role requires collaboration with nurses and physicians in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include inventory management, stocking Pyxis machines, and assisting with anesthesia procedures as needed while adhering to department policies and safety

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Previous experience in hospital setting
• Knowledge of growth and development as pertinent to job duties
• BLS Certification within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Assist in inventory management, ordering and stocking of anesthesia supplies.
• Order Anesthesia supplies from storeroom daily.
• Stock Anesthesia supplies in Operating Rooms daily.
• Stock medications in Pyxis machines for pharmacy as needed.
• Assist in cleaning and stocking in Operating Rooms between cases.
• Report equipment problems to Biomed and Anesthesia as needed.
