Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks an Anesthesia Technician II to support the anesthesia team in the operating room. You will help prepare equipment, monitor patient safety, and assist with airway management and line placement under supervision. The role offers hands-on healthcare experience within a collaborative hospital setting.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of technical healthcare experience and BLS certification. A certified anesthesia technician credential is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of technical healthcare experience.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Preferred certification as Anesthesia Technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia providers and the surgical team during procedures.
• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Monitor patient safety and assist with patient transport.
• Support with line placement, monitoring equipment, and airway care.
• Participate in room turnover and equipment readiness.
