Job summary

Loma Linda University Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia care team under the supervision of licensed providers. The technician prepares and assists with anesthesia equipment, sets up tables and machines, and follows sterile procedures in line with ASATT standards.

Responsibilities include instrument and supply processing, daily maintenance of equipment, inventory management, room turnover, and collaboration with anesthesiologists and nurses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of anesthesia technician experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ASATT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up anesthesia tables and machines per case requirements.
• Assist anesthesia providers during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare anesthesia-related items.
• Process and sterilize instruments, inspect for damage.
• Inventory supplies and ensure OR readiness; assist with room turnover.
• Participate in on-call schedule as needed.
