Job summary

UCLA Health and David Geffen School of Medicine in Los Angeles seeks an Anesthesia Tech/Patient Specialty Services Tech to assist the anesthesiologist with equipment prep and invasive line setup, per departmental protocols.

You will support in laser and video equipment, maintain infection control standards, and coordinate with OR leadership. CPR/BLS certification and ASAtt qualifications preferred; physical ability to lift 50 lbs and long walking/standing.

Qualifications

• Certification with ASATT (Cer.A.T.T. or Cer.A.T.) required or preferred.
• Experience with Rapid Transfuser and invasive IV lines required.
• Ability to set priorities and organize workload with multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in English with medical/surgical terminology.
• Must comply with infection control, OSHA, and safety standards.
• Ability to lift/pull/push 50 lbs and stand/walk extensively.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologist in preparation of anesthesia equipment.
• Set up invasive lines for patient monitoring.
• Prepare Rapid Transfuser and operate anesthesia machines.
• Set up laser/video equipment and assist in laser procedures.
• Perform clerical and coordinating duties as assigned by OR Leadership.
