Job summary

Torrance Memorial is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support operating rooms by coordinating and maintaining anesthesia equipment, stocking carts, and ensuring readiness for all procedures. You will work under the OR Clinical Manager and anesthesiologists to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Under supervision, you will manage inventory, perform daily safety checks, assist with invasive monitoring and emergency procedures, and help train new staff while upholding infection prevention

Qualifications

• 1+ years of clinical experience as anesthesia technician.
• Basic knowledge of cardiac and respiratory anatomy and physiology related to anesthesia care.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and standard precautions.
• BCLS or ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise stocking of anesthesia carts and equipment.
• Maintain inventory logs and par levels for anesthesia supplies.
• Perform daily safety checks on anesthesia machines and monitors.
• Assist with anesthesia procedures and setup of monitoring equipment.
• Assist during emergencies as directed by the anesthesiologist.
• Participate in training and orientation of new personnel in the department.
