Qualifications

• ASATT certification equivalents are preferred (Cer.A.T.T. or Cer.A.T.).
• Experience with RapidTransfuser and invasive IV lines.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments with multilevel personnel.
• Proficient in English with medical/surgical terminology.
• Able to meet department standards including attendance, dress code, and varied work schedule.
• Knowledge of infection control, OSHA, Universal Precautions, waste management, and hazardous substances.
• Capable of lifting/pushing 50 lbs+ and performing extensive walking/standing.
• Strong electronics background and familiarity with anesthesia machines.
• BLS certification from Red Cross or AHA is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologist in preparing equipment for anesthesia.
• Set up invasive lines and monitor patient equipment per protocol.
• Prepare and set up laser, video, and OR equipment; support laser procedures.
• Perform clerical and coordinating duties as assigned by OR leadership.
