Job summary

ThedaCare is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesiologists and CRNAs in perioperative care at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton, WI. The role involves preparing and maintaining anesthesia delivery systems, assisting during induction and emergence, and ensuring equipment readiness across operating rooms.

Responsibilities include room setup, equipment cleaning, and communications with Biomed for maintenance, with a 32-hour weekly schedule and up to 0.8 FTE.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required or provided
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia provider in delivery of anesthesia care, set up supplies and equipment
• Support anesthetic delivery during induction, emergence, and crises
• Prepare and restock rooms with required anesthesia supplies and equipment
• Clean and restock anesthesia equipment between cases and report any defects
• Perform routine maintenance and coordinate with Biomed for repairs
