Job summary

University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority seeks an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia team in the Inpatient Operating Room and off-site locations. This role includes preparing carts, checking machines, and assisting before, during, and after procedures.

The position is full-time, 100% FTE, evenings, with weekend rotation. BLS required within 180 days; an Associate's Degree is preferred; one year medical setting experience preferred; UW Health offers benefits and

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred for anesthesia technologist.
• 1 year of experience in a medical setting preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required or obtained within 180 days.
• Ability to disassemble and disinfect anesthesia equipment and stock supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the anesthesia team before, during, and after procedures.
• Check and supply anesthesia carts and machines; replace gas tanks.
• Disassemble used anesthesia equipment; disinfect machines and carts.
• Prepare anesthesia supplies preoperatively and postoperatively; pack and inventory.
