Job summary

Froedtert Health West Bend Hospital is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesiologists in the operating/procedural room, including patient intubation assistance and direct patient care under the anesthesiologist's direction. Responsibilities include blood analysis, ensuring anesthesia equipment is set up and functioning, and assisting with basic procedures as directed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years direct patient care experience or completion of 2 years as an anesthesia aide with progression training.
• Anesthesia tech program completion or current anesthesia tech progression.
• Certification as anesthesia tech.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia providers during delivery of anesthesia and with patient intubation as directed.
• Prepare and ensure anesthesia equipment is set up and functioning properly.
• Support basic patient care procedures as directed by the anesthesiologist/CRNA/CAA.
