Job summary

Edward-Elmhurst Health seeks an Anesthesia Tech for the Evanston Hospital location. The mid-shift role supports pre-, intra-, and post-operative procedures, prepares anesthesia supplies, and maintains room turnover.

You will assist with equipment calibration and high-level sterilization, contributing to patient safety and efficiency. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or Associate's degree, with 1 year of related experience or an equivalent degree.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move heavy objects.
• Ability to push and pull heavy objects when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist during pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative procedures.
• Set up and turnover of rooms and equipment for procedures.
• Audit, stock and maintain anesthesia supply stations and sterilization procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment at a basic level and order supplies via Lawson system.
