Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking an Anesthesia Tech for the Anesthesia Department. The role supports pre-, intra-, and post-operative care with shift hours Monday–Friday, 12:00 noon–8:30pm, and a 40-hour weekly schedule.

The position involves setting up supplies, room turnover, instrument calibration, and basic equipment troubleshooting. Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or Associate's Degree, plus 1 year relevant experience or related education.

Qualifications

• Education as High School Graduate or Associate's Degree.
• Experience: 1 year in anesthesia tech or related role or an Associate's Degree with clinical exposure.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist during pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative procedures under supervision.
• Set up supplies and equipment for pre-procedure needs and maintain room turnover.
• Audit, stock, and maintain anesthesia supply stations; calibrate POC equipment and document procedures.
• Provide basic equipment troubleshooting and order supplies via Lawson.
• Support anesthesia team to ensure smooth operating room flow.

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Anesthesia Tech - Anesthesia Department - Midhshift

Position Highlights:

• Position: Anesthesia Tech
• Location: Evanston, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: 40 hours per week
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 12:00noon-8:30pm

What you will do:

• Under direction of supervisor, assist during pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative procedures
• Pre-operative, pre-procedure supply and equipment set-up and room turnover.
• Auditing, stocking and maintenance of anesthesia supply stations, calibration of POC equipment, high-level sterilization procedures and documentation
• Provide basic level equipment troubleshooting
• Order supplies via the Lawson Material Management System

What you will need:

• Education: High School Graduate or Associates Degree
• Certification: N/A
• Experience: High school Diploma with 1 year experience as either an Anesthesia Tech, Patient Care Tech, or Emergency Medical Tech or Associate's Degree if no clinical experience.
• Unique or Preferred Skills: Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. Ability to occasionally lift (patients and equipment), as well as push and/or pull heavy objects.
