Job summary

Edward Hospital – Naperville, IL is seeking a Surgical Services Support Technician for the mid shift. You will assist surgeons, anesthesia, and the surgical team under RN supervision to maintain smooth flow of patients through the operating room and related areas.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with an 11:00am–7:00pm schedule and rotating weekend/holiday on-call shifts. A High School diploma or GED and current CPR (BLS) are required; CNA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification (BLS) issued by a recognized body.
• Preferred: CNA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs patient care tasks to assist surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical staff to facilitate flow of patients through surgery.
