Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL seeks an Anesthesia Tech for the Anesthesia Department in the evening shift. The role is full-time with 40 hours weekly and requires on-call rotation including weekends and holidays.

Under supervision, you will support pre-, intra-, and post-operative procedures, manage supplies and equipment, and maintain anesthesia stations. The position requires basic anatomy/physiology knowledge and at least a high school diploma with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Associate's Degree required.
• 1 year experience as Anesthesia Tech, Patient Care Tech, or EMT, or relevant Associates degree.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
• Ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist during pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative procedures under supervision.
• Pre-operative supply and equipment setup and room turnover.
• Audit, stock and maintain anesthesia supply stations and calibrate equipment.
• Provide basic level equipment troubleshooting.
• Order supplies via Lawson Material Management System.
