The Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician 2 to support anesthesiologists before, during, and after procedures. You will prepare, calibrate, and check anesthesia equipment, stock supplies in ORs, GI Lab, and Radiology, and assist with patient safety throughout procedures.

Responsibilities include arranging drugs and setting up instrument tables, ensuring carts are stocked, passing instruments to the team, and maintaining sterilization of equipment.

Qualifikationen

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related role.
• BLS certification required or to obtain within 30 days.

Aufgaben

• Prepare anesthesia supplies and instrument tables for OR procedures.
• Maintain anesthesia cart and supply cabinets with adequate items.
• Assist anesthesiologist by passing tools, supplies, and lines during procedures.
• Clean and prep tables and equipment after cases.
• Respond to supply and drug requests from anesthesia staff, retrieving items as needed.
• Sterilize non-disposable anesthesia equipment and ensure readiness.
• Verify equipment works and report issues to Biomedical Engineering.
