Job summary

UC Health is seeking a Full Time Clinical Operations Supervisor for the Anesthesia unit at the UC Medical Center, First Shift. The role supports day-to-day admin and clinical functions to ensure excellent patient service across sites.

The candidate will manage patient flow, equipment, and staff, while performing operational and financial analyses to optimize unit performance and care quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of experience preferred.
• Certification as an Anesthesia Technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of the team.
• Plans and schedules work assignments ensuring adequate service levels to physicians and patients.
• Manages daily clinical operations in the practice site including patient flow and supply needs.
• Performs routine operational efficiency and financial analysis for the unit.
• Maintains excellent relations with physicians in the clinical area.
• Anticipates and addresses physician needs for equipment, supplies and support.
• Triages patient complaints and follows through to resolution.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to ensure high quality patient care.
• Manages recruitment, development, and performance evaluations of employees.
• Oversees training and orientation of new employees and ongoing skill training.
• Coordinates patient customer relations function and resolves disputes.
