Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to oversee daily patient care in the Main Operating Room. You will ensure nursing practice standards, coordinate the surgery schedule, supervise staff, and support physicians with orders and equipment fulfillment.

The role requires 5 years OR experience (or 2 years plus supervisory experience), RN licensure, and BLS; CNOR preferred. You will lead by example and ensure safe, high-quality perioperative care in a busy academic health system.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct nursing staff; site role modeling and clinical leadership.
• Respond to physician orders and ensure acquisition of equipment and services.
• Review data and implement control mechanisms to foster safe patient care.
