Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience building native Android apps.
• Expert knowledge of Kotlin.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of the Android SDK, Android Studio and the Gradle build system.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues in production Android applications.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; data driven and results-oriented.
• Experience in affecting large culture change.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Turn tech stack and application design into code on development platform using Android tech stack.
• Address a variety of responses to problems by applying established criteria to influence development outcomes.
• Responsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities including feasibility studies, estimates and implementation.
• Write secure, stable, testable and maintainable code across the lifecycle.
• Operate with autonomy with some oversight and direction.
• Engage in digital applications development, risk technology and related activities to meet business needs.
