Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional experience building native Android applications.
• Expert knowledge of Kotlin, with deep understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and unidirectional data flow.
• Hands-on knowledge of the Android SDK, Android Studio, and the Gradle build system.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose performance issues related to memory, rendering, and battery use.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; data driven and results oriented.

Responsibilities

• Turn tech stack and application design into code on development platform using Android tech stack.
• Address a variety of responses to problems by applying criteria to influence development outcomes and deliver small-scale features.
• Responsible for analysis and programming activities including feasibility studies and estimates.
• Write secure, stable, testable, maintainable code and handle development lifecycle steps.
• Engage in customer-facing discussions with users and other tech groups to propose programming solutions.
• Learn functionality, architecture, dependencies, and runtime properties of systems involved in projects.
• Build and maintain integrated project schedules with dependencies and contingencies.
• Negotiate features and priorities to help teams reach consensus.
• Improve team processes to accelerate delivery, efficiency, and quality.
• Ensure code quality and CI/CD pipeline automation including testing and build processing.
