Job summary

DRT Strategies, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Android Developer to build high-quality mobile applications. You will work with Kotlin or Java, implement offline sync, secure authentication, and integrate with backend services in a cloud-enabled environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across security, DevOps, cloud, and product owners, participate in Agile ceremonies, and help modernize mission apps for field personnel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing, building, testing, and deploying Android applications.
• Experience implementing mobile architecture decisions: dependency management, offline data sync, API patterns, mobile testing strategies, authentication & security.
• Experience integrating Android apps with backend APIs, cloud services, and third-party platforms.
• Experience with Google Play Store release pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize native Android applications using Kotlin or Java.
• Implement offline synchronization and secure authentication flows.
• Develop responsive, user-focused interfaces with performance and usability in mind.
• Integrate mobile features with device-level functionality and platform configurations.
• Work with backend and cloud engineers to create secure mobile-to-API pipelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
