We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to design, develop, and support native mobile applications that deliver modern, intuitive user experiences.

This role involves building scalable solutions in a high-volume transactional environment, migrating applications to the cloud, and collaborating with top developers in an Agile setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, and support native Android applications.
• Work on UI frameworks and create rapid prototypes for new features and apps.
• Implement automation to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Establish and maintain Android development best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to identify dependencies, tasks, and automation opportunities.
• Mentor team members and assist in recruiting and onboarding developers.
• Continuously improve development practices by leveraging the latest design patterns and technologies.
• Participate in training, Communities of Practice (CoPs), and ongoing learning initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a full-time software developer.
• 3+ years of native Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with automated testing platforms and test-driven development (TDD).
• Familiarity with MVVM and MVP design patterns.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and scalable application design principles.
• Experience consuming RESTful web services and working with push notifications.

Preferred Qualifications
