DRT Strategies, Inc. is seeking an Android Developer to build high‑quality, secure Android applications that integrate with backend services and cloud environments.

You will work with Mobile Dev SEs on architecture, offline‑sync strategies, security controls, testing frameworks, and release pipelines. You will modernize existing mission apps and develop new mobile capabilities to support field personnel, public‑health operations, and device‑centric workflows, collaborating in an Agile

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing, building, testing, and deploying Android applications.
• Experience with mobile architecture decisions: offline data sync, security, and API patterns.
• Experience integrating Android apps with backend APIs and cloud services.
• Experience with Google Play Store release pipelines.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize native Android apps using Kotlin or Java.
• Implement offline sync, secure authentication, encrypted storage, and robust API integration.
• Develop responsive, user‑focused mobile interfaces with performance and usability in mind.
• Collaborate with backend/cloud engineers to enable secure mobile‑to‑API pipelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and work with security, DevOps, cloud, and product owners.
