Job summary

Real REMAX Group is seeking an Ancillary Products Controller to lead the Finance team for Wallet and Mortgage businesses. You will oversee accounting managers and analysts, review journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close, ensuring GAAP-compliant reporting across all ancillary lines.

You’ll partner with product and leadership, translate new initiatives into sound accounting treatments, drive controls, budgeting and forecasting, and mentor a growing accounting team in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• CPA certification required.
• Big 4 audit firm experience required.
• 8-10+ years accounting/finance experience, including 3+ years managing staff.
• Experience overseeing accounting and reporting for multiple business lines or products.
• Experience in fintech/payments or other regulated financial services is a strong plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close deliverables.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements across all ancillary product lines.
• Establish and maintain internal controls and segregation of duties.
• Coordinate internal and external audit support and implement recommendations.
• Oversee treasury, cash management, and liquidity monitoring for ancillary products.
• Partner with product, R&D, legal, and operations to ensure sound financial reporting.
• Provide financial analysis, profitability assessments, and scenario planning.
• Translate complex business activity into practical accounting guidance.
