Job summary

Sonora Quest Diagnostics is seeking an Anatomic Pathology Lab Technician to handle receipt and processing of pathology specimens, perform waived and moderately complex tests, and support the histology section under supervision.

The role requires an Associate's degree or ASCP HT registry (or a Bachelor's with relevant certification within 6 months), strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced clinical lab environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or ASCP HT registry required.
• ASCP HT registry (or eligibility) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree with Anatomic Pathology certification documentation within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive, examine and process pathology specimens.
• Perform waived and moderately complex tests per CLIA '88.
• Assist in grossing and train staff in entry-level tasks as needed.
• Maintain QC/QA procedures and assist in R&D activities.
