Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Histology Technologist to join our Anatomic Pathology team. You will handle receipt of specimens, prepare samples for testing, and perform waived and moderately complex testing under CLIA guidelines.

In this role you may train new staff, ensure QC/QA compliance, and help maintain accurate documentation. The position requires an Associate's degree or higher and eligibility for ASCP HT registry or a Bachelor's with relevant certification within

Qualifications

• Requires an ASCP HT registry eligibility or HT registry
• Willingness to cross-train in all areas of Anatomic Pathology
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Receive and accession pathology specimens into the histology workflow.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and perform waived testing.
• Train new employees and maintain QC/QA documentation.
• Support supervisor in daily workflow and troubleshooting.
