Job summary

The Cigna Group's Analytics Leadership Development Program (ALDP) seeks curious, driven graduates to rotate through the Data and Analytics organization over 4–5 years, building expertise in data science, machine learning, NLP and AI.

Based in Bloomfield, CT with in-person work most of the week, the program offers formal training, mentoring and hands-on projects including predictive modeling, clustering for segmentation, and generative AI exploration, plus a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field (data science, statistics, analytics, mathematics).
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with leadership potential.
• Experience with writing code (Python, R, Java, Julia, SAS) and ML methods.
• Familiarity with AI ethics and responsible AI practices in business.
• Experience with Excel and data visualization tools; SQL and cloud ML platforms a plus.
• GPA 3.2+ strongly preferred; internship with Cigna Group is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rotations across The Cigna Group's Data and Analytics organization.
• Build predictive models and perform segmentation using ML techniques.
• Apply NLP to analyze unstructured data like feedback or notes.
• Explore generative AI applications to automate insights and decision making.
