Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Manager, Analytical Engineer to bridge data engineering and analytics, building scalable data models and pipelines while enabling self-service analytics across the organization.

The role requires strong SQL, Python/R, and experience with dbt, Databricks, and governance. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver robust data products and drive data-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or higher required in a technical field.
• Experience with SQL and scripting (Python/R).
• Experience designing dimensional models (star/snowflake) and data governance.
• Proven ability to gather requirements and convey technical solutions to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business to gather requirements and deliver data products.
• Develop centralized data layer for scalable data products.
• Incorporate domain data marts into a centralized core.
• Harmonize data across manufacturing sites and platforms for enterprise use.
• Design scalable architectural solutions to drive efficiency.
• Define orchestration strategies across multiple data domains.
• Work within a governed metadata framework; documentation as delivery.
• Use dbt to deliver tested, DRY code.
• Follow analytics lifecycle to deliver accurate data on time.
• Identify innovative solutions to accelerate decision-making.
