Job summary

PatientPoint, Inc. seeks a Manager of Analytics Engineering to lead a team that transforms raw data into governed, scalable analytics assets.

You’ll oversee dbt models, semantic layers, and BI frameworks, partnering with Data Engineering, Reporting, and Analytics teams to deliver trusted self-service insights. The role requires hands-on analytics engineering expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to align data products with business priorities while advancing governance and data quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Data Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in a data visualization or data engineering role.
• 2+ years of experience managing or mentoring a team or contractors.
• Advanced experience with dbt and Snowflake.
• Advanced SQL knowledge with large datasets.
• Proven experience in data visualization, reporting, or BI.
• Excellent communication to convey technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and train a team of data visualization engineers and professionals.
• Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and improvement.
• Oversee resource allocation, prioritization, and project delivery within deadlines.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
• Contribute to frameworks, methodologies, and tools for reliable data assets.
• Develop analytics engineering strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure data assets are accurate, consistent, and reliable.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Reporting, Analytics teams to meet business needs.
• Own and evolve the analytics engineering ecosystem (dbt, Snowflake, Looker).
• Define standards for modeling, testing, documentation, and version control.
