Job summary

PatientPoint is seeking a Manager of Analytics Engineering to lead a team turning raw data into governed, scalable analytics assets. You’ll oversee dbt models, LookML layers, and BI frameworks while collaborating with Data Engineering, Reporting, and Analytics teams to align data products with business priorities.

The role requires hands-on analytics engineering experience, strong leadership, and a drive to deliver trusted self-service insights across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data engineering, data analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years in a related data visualization or data engineering role.
• 2+ years of experience managing or mentoring a team or contractors.
• Advanced experience with dbt and Snowflake.
• Advanced SQL knowledge, including writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and working with large datasets.
• Proven experience in developing and delivering within data visualization, reporting, or business intelligence.
• Excellent communication, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with project management practices and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles, with the ability to apply statistical and analytical techniques when appropriate.

• Oversee resource allocation, prioritization, and project delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes within deadlines.
