Job summary

Cityblock Health is seeking a senior analytics engineer to build scalable analytics platforms integrated with healthcare data. You will design enterprise-grade data models using dbt Core/Cloud, SQL, and Python, and collaborate with care and data teams to deliver real-time insights.

The role focuses on processing EHR/claims data, implementing DAGs with Dagster or Airflow, and ensuring HIPAA compliance, data contracts, and secure data access across cloud environments such as Snowflake and

Qualifications

6+ years in analytics engineering or senior analytics roles.
Deep knowledge of healthcare data frameworks (FHIR, HL7, ICD-10, CPT).
Experience with HIPAA compliance and governed analytics pipelines.
Strong SQL, dbt, Python and orchestration tooling.
Ability to transform and model enterprise data for clinical and operational use.

Responsibilities

Design scalable analytics architecture and data models with dbt and SQL.
Build and optimize big data pipelines processing EHR, claims, and HL7 data.
Develop real-time monitoring, alerting, and data freshness checks.
Collaborate with governance, BI, and data engineering to enforce data contracts.
Ensure HIPAA compliance across codebases and pipelines.
