Job summary

Plata Card is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the DWH team. You will translate business requirements into reliable, production-grade data models and ETL/ELT processes, working at the intersection of analytics and data engineering.

Responsibilities include designing data models and data marts, building pipelines with SQL and dbt, and collaborating with product, risk, and analysts to ensure data quality and scalable analytics across the organization.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in analytics engineering, DWH, or data engineering roles.
• Strong SQL skills with complex queries, joins, aggregations, and window functions.
• Hands-on data modeling, data transformations, and building data marts.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and data models using dbt or similar frameworks.
• Good understanding of data quality and ability to troubleshoot data issues.
• Ability to translate business requirements into structured data solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work skills.
• Excellent communication with analysts and engineers; English at least B1+.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and analytical requirements into scalable data models and ETL/ELT solutions.
• Analyze data sources to identify integration points and design data marts for domains.
• Develop and optimize data transformations using SQL and dbt.
• Improve existing data flows for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Collaborate with analysts and data engineers to integrate domain processes with core DWH components.
• Document data models, lineage, integration points, and business rules.
