Job summary

HDR is looking for an Analytics Engineer II to design and develop analytics models aligned with business processes and reporting needs. You will create curated marts and semantic structures that promote reuse and consistent interpretation, working with analysts to translate questions into durable data models.

You will implement layered data patterns, use shared components for standardized reuse, and define KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in analytics, BI, or data roles with demonstrated modeling and SQL proficiency.
• Ability to translate business requirements into stable, reusable data models.
• Familiarity with BI/reporting consumption patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analytics models aligned to business processes and reporting needs.
• Create curated marts and semantic structures for reuse and consistency.
• Translate business questions into durable data models with analysts.
• Define, document, and maintain KPIs/metrics for reporting surfaces.
• Publish lineage artifacts and maintain transformation-layer documentation.
• Implement automated tests and CI checks to improve data reliability.
