Job summary

team.blue Global is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join the AI & Data function. You will transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets, build KPIs and semantic models, and deliver reliable data products to dashboards and reports.

The role spans marketing, product usage, customer care, revenue, and more, collaborating with data engineers and stakeholders. You will define KPI logic, maintain the semantic layer, and apply best practices in analytics code and data governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on proficiency with dbt Core/Cloud as a core requirement.
• Experience with Databricks or comparable cloud data platforms (Snowflake/BigQuery).
• Solid understanding of dimensional modelling and data warehousing patterns.
• SQL excellence with complex transformations and window functions.
• Ability to work autonomously across multiple data domains.

Responsibilities

• Transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets and KPIs.
• Define KPI logic with business stakeholders for consistent definitions.
• Maintain semantic/presentation layer and robust data products.
• Apply software engineering practices: version control, testing, CI/CD, docs.
• Onboard new data domains with limited guidance across domains.
• Engage business partners to validate requirements and align on KPIs.
• Identify data quality issues and resolve at source with Data Management.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to enable reporting needs.
• Contribute to data governance: naming conventions, lineage, model cataloguing.
