Job summary

Perform Properties is seeking an Analytics Engineer to transform raw data into trusted, well-modeled datasets used across Investments, Portfolio, Operations and Finance. You will own the transformation layer, build curated data sources, and support reporting, BI, and AI initiatives.

This role sits between Data Engineering and Analytics, reporting to the VP of Data & Analytics, and is based in the office, five days a week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building data models and pipelines in analytics/BI roles.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and DBT.
• Experience with modern data warehouses (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, RedShift).
• Cloud infrastructure experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with cloud-hosted data visualization tooling.
• Knowledge of dimensional modelling and medallion-layer design.
• Governing data with CI/CD and Git workflows.
• Ability to translate business questions into durable data models.

Responsibilities

• Build data transformation layers delivering clean, stakeholder-ready data to the data warehouse.
• Shift measurement decisions to silver/gold data layers for repeatable analytics.
• Enable self-service reporting and expedite decision-making.
• Ensure data quality with lineage, checks, and clear definitions.
• Support data governance and stakeholder engagement.
• Model AI use via data models and outputs for AI tooling.
