Job summary

Sage Care is seeking a data analytics engineer to build out the analytics infrastructure and tooling for the matching pipeline. You will work with engineers and business teams to surface and design metrics to improve our AI-powered care navigation platform.

You will design dashboards, pipelines, and offline analysis tooling to derive insights from patient data and help iterate on our product offerings. This role emphasizes scalable analytics and backend systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data analytics and engineering experience.
• Experience building dashboards and UI’s that monitor live data using Grafana.
• Data engineering experience piping metric data from live services.
• Strong experience in an object-oriented language (e.g. Python, Java, JavaScript).
• Strong backend engineering skills and systems thinking.
• Nice to Have: Open Telemetry and related products (Honeycomb, Jaeger UI).
• Experience in healthcare technology.

Responsibilities

• Build and design analytics tooling and pipelines.
• Build dashboards that surface metrics and insights into our data.
• Build the pipelines that connect metrics from our services to our dashboards.
• Build offline analysis tooling to understand aggregate and larger scale impacts of our services.
• Design and implement new metrics to assess performance.
• Establish metrics of quality to improve our algorithms.
