Qualifications

• 7+ years of ML engineering experience.
• Experience with foundational ML models (e.g. learned decision trees, deep learning, reinforcement learning).
• Strong backend engineering skills and systems thinking.
• Experience defining solutions from first principles for ambiguous problems.
• Experience turning research into testable prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the core symptom and query routing engine.
• Build models mapping complex queries and symptoms to urgency, providers, and specialties.
• Develop learned decision trees to infer necessary follow-up questions.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to encode generalizable representations.
• Learn from real data and establish metrics to improve models over time.
