Job summary

Scientific Search is seeking a Senior Scientist, Analytical Spectroscopy in Indianapolis, on-site with relocation considered. The role focuses on advanced characterization, method development, and translating data into actionable insights to drive product and process development.

You will design and execute experiments with SEM, AFM, FTIR, NMR, Raman, GPC, and optical microscopy; support cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and champion lab safety and scientific excellence.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry preferred; BS/MS with equivalent experience considered.
• Hands-on expertise with SEM, AFM, FTIR, NMR, Raman, GPC and optical microscopy.
• Experience with thermal analysis, including TGA and DSC.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute advanced characterization experiments.
